LaunchPad Terms of Service
The Service:
LaunchPad is a managed website subscription service. We design and build your website from our template library, adapted to your brand, copy and imagery. It is a semi-custom service, not a bespoke build from scratch. If you need something outside the standard scope, we will provide a separate estimate before any additional work begins.
What We Take Care Of:
The following is included across all LaunchPad plans. Depending on the plan you choose at checkout, additional features such as booking integration or ecommerce setup may also be included. Your full plan inclusions are set out at the time of purchase.

- Stock imagery licences

- Secure website server hosting
- Fast page loading and optimised server performance
- SSL certificate
- Website maintenance
- Security monitoring
- Malware scans and removal
- Website recovery
- Image optimisation
- Database optimisation
- Functionality testing (forms, buttons, sign-ups and more)
- Broken links monitoring
- Daily website backups
- Daily database backups
- Monthly check-ins to plan upcoming edits and requests
Everything above is managed by us so you do not have to think about it.
What We Do Not Cover:
The following are not included in any LaunchPad plan:
- Website ownership or intellectual property (you licence the site from us for as long as your subscription is active)
- Brand identity design, logos or brand strategy
- Brand photography or video production
- Social media management
- Complex or bespoke functionality
The number of pages and any additional features included depend on the plan you choose at checkout. Work outside your plan scope is treated as additional work and quoted separately before we begin.
Your Site is a Licence, Not a Purchase:
The website we build for you, including its design, layout, code, copywriting and any imagery we create or source, belongs to Studio Stratos at all times. Your subscription gives you the right to use the site for your own business while your account is active and paid up. This right ends when your subscription ends, for any reason.
Setup and Sign-Off:
Once you have provided everything we need, we aim to have your initial build ready to review within 3 working days. We will let you know by email when it is ready.
You have 3 working days from that notification to review and sign off. Sign-off is final. Any changes requested after sign-off, or after your site goes live, are billed at €40 per hour unless covered by your monthly edit allowance. Changes after launch are limited to text and images. A request for a new layout or new functionality is treated as a new scope of work and quoted separately.
Your Domain:
You purchase and own your own domain. Domain registration is not included in this service, but we are happy to guide you through the process if you need help. You will need to give us the access required to connect your domain to your site, for example DNS settings.
Processing Payments on your Site:
Where your plan includes online payments or bookings, you will set up your own Stripe account in your own name, email and banking details. You add us as a team member so we can configure the relevant features. Your customers pay you directly. We can walk you through this setup on request.
Your Content:
Any text, images, logos or other materials you supply to us remain your property at all times. You confirm that you own or have the right to use everything you provide, and that it is accurate and lawful. You agree to cover Studio Stratos against any third-party claim that arises from materials you supply to us.
We do not accept responsibility for errors or omissions in content you have reviewed and approved before your site goes live.
Fees and Payments:
Your monthly fee is billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable. If a payment is missed, we will give you 7 days notice before suspending your site. We may charge interest on overdue amounts at a reasonable commercial rate.
We review our pricing from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days notice before any change takes effect. If the new price does not suit you, you are free to cancel before it applies.
Availability and Uptime:
We work hard to keep your site available at all times, but no managed website service can guarantee 100% uptime. We are not responsible for downtime caused by your domain registrar, third-party hosting infrastructure, Stripe, booking tools or any other service outside our direct control. When something goes wrong, we will act promptly to help resolve it.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to this service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 3 months before the issue arose. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost bookings, lost data or any other indirect or consequential loss, even where we were aware it was possible.
Cancellation:
You can cancel at any time by notifying us in writing via email at support@studiostratos.co or by logging into your Studio Stratos Subscription Account where you can manage your subscription(s). Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing month, which you are billed for in full. No partial refunds are given.
After cancellation, your site remains live for 14 days to give you time to make alternative arrangements or change your mind. After those 14 days, we will take it offline. Your domain and Stripe account are yours and are not affected by cancellation.
Reselling Our Work:
Your subscription is for your own business only. You may not resell, redistribute or use the site or any part of it to provide services to others without our written permission and a separately agreed reseller fee.
Site Credit:
We may include a small footer credit on your site identifying Studio Stratos as its creator. You can request removal for a one-off fee of €100. Removing the credit without our agreement makes this fee payable immediately. If we forget to include a credit, no fee applies to you.
If We Cannot Deliver:
In the unlikely event that serious illness, injury, bereavement or another unforeseen personal circumstance prevents us from delivering your service, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement provider. If that is not possible, our liability is limited to refunding any fees paid for services not yet delivered.
If we stop communicating with you for more than 5 working days without explanation, this agreement ends automatically and no further fees are owed by either party.
Data Protection:
We handle any personal data we process on your behalf in line with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. You are responsible for making sure your site displays appropriate cookie and privacy notices for your own customers.
Governing Law:
Although the language is simple, the intentions are serious and this contract is a legal document under exclusive jurisdiction of Irish court.
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation in the jurisdiction of Ireland.
